Apple has put Hong Kong on its July 11 launch list on its US website. Only 22 ‘Key Markets’ will launch the 3G iPhone on July 11 while the rest of the world will have 3G iPhone later in the year; up to now only 3HK is listed as the official carrier.
Steve Jobs has just announced the availability of 3G iPhone from July 11. Main features:
- available in 70 countries
- built-in GPS
- data transfer speed 36% faster than other 3G smartphones
- Battery life
3G talk time : 5 hours
2G talk time : 10 hours
Standby time: 300 hours
Browsing : 5-6 hours
Video : 7 hours
Audio: 24 hours
